What payment methods are accepted?
All our offers can be booked online or by phone. Depending on the offer selected, you will be asked to pay either in full or in part. In the case of partial payment, you pay the balance of the order on site by one of the payment methods of your choice from the list below.
If you wish to book by telephone, we will collect your credit card details as a guarantee, and you will be able to choose whether to pay in full or in part immediately, or on site before departure, using the following payment methods: cash, cheques, ANCV vacation vouchers, ANCV Connect, or credit card via a Lydia link on your cell phone.
Where can I buy a gift card for a Mobilboard activity?
It's an original gift idea and a great way to share a great moment during an outdoor activity.
All gift cards available on our site are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. You can also buy gift vouchers of various values directly on our site.
Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event of a no-show on the day of the event, the reserved gift card will be permanently lost and cannot be replaced or carried forward.
What should I wear to ride a gyropod?
The best outfit is the one you're comfortable in! It simply has to be adapted to the weather...
Your sneakers must be flat, closed-toe shoes that fit securely on your feet.
A backpack is not recommended, but we can provide you with a handlebar bag for your small personal effects (e.g. car key, papers, telephone, etc.).
Can anyone ride a gyropod?
The Segway® gyropod is easy to use and accessible to the greatest number of people, subject to certain constraints for the proper operation of the device and therefore your safety.
To use a Segway® gyropod, you need to weigh between 45 and 118 kg. These are the worldwide figures provided by Segway Inc, to ensure user safety.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women or people with inner ear problems.
I'd like to take a family outing. At what age can my child ride a gyropod?
To comply with the Highway Code, your child must be at least 14 years old to use a gyropod, as with an electric scooter (and any other EDPM).
It is not possible to have a child ride with you on the gyropod.
Important : the age has been raised from 12 to 14 by Decree n°2023-848 of August 31, 2023 relating to the regulation of motorized personal displacement devices applicable from September 1, 2023 .
We launched our business in the spring of 2023 with a large number of leaflets, press articles, inserts, gift vouchers and other flyers mentioning the age of 12. These materials are likely to be in your hands for many months to come, but the regulations are binding on all of us, and the minimum age of 14 for Segway® use will be strictly enforced.
We're sure you'll understand, and that you'll want your youngsters to respect the Highway Code.

I can't make it and want to cancel, do I get my money back?
With the exception of certain offers or operations, most bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to a certain date before the appointment. For last-minute cancellations (less than 24 hours), 50% of the total amount will be charged.
In the event of a no-show on the day of the appointment, without prior cancellation, the entire reservation fee will be charged.
However, before cancelling, we can try, subject to availability, to reschedule your appointment...it's a lot more pleasant!
Where to go and how long before departure?
Each ride has a specific meeting point indicated on the booking form. It's easy to find the Mobilboard vehicle that will be there. However, please make your own parking arrangements!
For reasons beyond our control, some meeting places may vary slightly. In this case, we'll notify you at least half an hour before the appointment by SMS.
Plan to be at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure , so that you can check in each person and equip yourself with a helmet before departure.
If you are late, you will be charged for the duration of the activity.
If you are 15 minutes or more late, the activity will be cancelled and no refund will be given.
I'll be late, what should I do?
Call us as soon as possible with an SMS and a voice message!
In order not to delay the following groups, a delay of more than 15 minutes may, depending on the itinerary: either reduce the duration of the walk by the same amount, or result in the cancellation of the walk with no refund possible.
It's raining, can we still do business?
Rest assured...there's no risk of electrocution with the Segway® gyropod!
It's not as pleasant, but it also makes for great memories, so YES, the activity will continue in the event of rain!
And if you need it, we'll provide you with a free rain/wind cape.
The Mobilboard guide may decide to postpone or cancel the activity in the event of heavy rain, persistent violent thunderstorms, storms... Please do not hesitate to contact us when the time comes.
How many people can take part in an activity?
For your safety and conviviality, the Mobilboard guide takes charge of small groups of 2 to 6 people maximum.
Groups can be made up of people who don't know each other, or can be exclusive. For an optional surcharge, you can privatize most of our activities when you book online.
For larger groups, please contact us directly to set up a specific solution.
I'm alone, how can I go for a walk?
We invite you to follow our news feeds, where available places on upcoming courses are presented.
Don't hesitate to contact us directly by phone to work out a solution with you.
I'd like to keep some memories of the ride.
We remind you that using a camera while driving is forbidden by the Highway Code, which also applies to bicycles, gyropods and other EDPMs...
However, it's normal to want to keep and share your memories... just ask your tour leader to make photo/video stops.
How do I redeem the voucher I've won?
The vouchers (exchange, gift or discount) that you have won can be used under the conditions indicated on the voucher (e.g. number of people, route, duration). They are valid for a fixed period indicated on the voucher; after this date, the voucher is definitively lost.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged, reimbursed or exchanged for any other financial consideration!
The voucher cannot be exchanged for another offer, nor can it be combined with other promotional offers.
To use the voucher, you must contact us by telephone to book your ride, and attach a photo of the voucher you have won with the validity date visible. The voucher must be redeemed directly at the time of departure. If the voucher is not redeemed at the time of departure, the normal rate for the ride will be applied before departure.
Vouchers with a promotional code can be redeemed directly on our website when you book online.
J'ai surestimé mes capacités en m'inscrivant à un parcours technique !
Tous nos parcours "techniques" nécessitent :
- une pratique avérée du Segway® de plusieurs heures, validée par un plateau technique pratique et théorique sur son utilisation avant de partir en balade.
- une bonne condition physique déclarative par l'utilisateur...rien ne sert de se mentir, nous sommes là pour passer un bon moment sans nous mettre en danger.
En cas de non-validation des prés requis par l'accompagnateur Mobilboard, la balade sera annulée et non remboursée pour les personnes qui ne remplissent pas les conditions nécessaires dans le cas d'un groupe non privatisé.
Pour un groupe privatisé, la balade sera aménagée vers un parcours plus simple correspondant à un niveau de sécurité optimum pour chacun.
Quelle assurance dois je avoir pour conduire un gyropode ?
Au préalable vous devez vérifier que vous êtes couvert pour la conduite des EDPM dans le cadre de votre responsabilité civile.
Ensuite nous avons souscrit pour chaque utilisateur désigné au contrat une police d'assurance MOB IN RC circulation au Tiers. Cette assurance couvre uniquement les accidents corporels et matériels causés à un tiers identifié. Seul l’utilisateur désigné sur le contrat de location dispose de la qualité d’assuré au titre du contrat d’assurance. En cas d’accident, le locataire doit remplir un constat amiable qui doit obligatoirement préciser ses identités et coordonnées ainsi que celles du tiers ayant subi ou provoqué l’accident. Le constat doit être signé par le locataire et le tiers.
Cependant, comme avec un simple vélo ou en marchant tout simplement, une inattention de quelques secondes peut causer une chute et des blessures ; nous vous offrons la possibilité de souscrire une assurance Garantie Personnelle Conducteur (GPC) pour seulement 1 euro de plus par personne. Cette assurance est systématiquement proposée en option lors de la réservation en ligne et avant le paiement final.
