Program

This 2-hour Segway tour will give you the keys to Saint-Pierre, patron saint of the southern capital. Its history, geography and rich cultural heritage will hold no secrets for you.

From the Rivière d'Abord, the Hôtel de Ville to the Temple Guan Yin, Saint-Pierre and its hinterland, its marina, its waterfront and its lively city center will reveal themselves to you. You'll be amazed by the diversity and proximity of religious practices here, with Catholic and Muslim cemeteries, Tamil and Buddhist temples.

Last but not least, the journey continues with a visit to the former Gare de St Pierre, now a listed building. It houses a permanent exhibition on the history of Reunion's railroads, with the last carriage of the long-ago ti train in the back yard. The tour comes to an end with an express return along the quays, where many colorful "canots", traditional fishing boats, are parked.
