A help for the users of EDPM

From now on, it is the advantages to move with an electric scooter that are valued:

The EDPM do not cease interfering in our daily life thanks to laws more and more advantageous.
Following the adoption of an amendment to the National Assembly, employees will be able to be compensated for their home-work trips made in EDPM (electric scooters, gyropods, etc. ...) by their employer up to 500 euros per year. This measure will be effective from January 1, 2022 to the delight of fans ever more numerous.

But then how does it work?

The coverage of these expenses will take the form of a lump-sum allowance, exempt from social security contributions, up to a limit of €500 per year and per employee.

This exemption will be conditional on proof that the sums allocated are used for the purpose for which they were intended: thus, the employee will have to be able to provide a certificate on his or her honour or proof of the use of the above-mentioned modes of transport.

In addition, it will be possible to combine this sustainable mobility package with the payment of public transport passes or public bicycle rental services. It will also be possible to combine it with the coverage of fuel costs and costs incurred for the supply of electric, rechargeable hybrid or hydrogen vehicles.

In this case, note that there will also be an advantage for your employer! So there is no reason for your company to miss out. This sustainable mobility package will be exempted up to a limit of 400 € per year, after deduction of the employer's contribution to the cost of the public transport pass or the cost of fuel or power for an electric, plug-in hybrid or hydrogen vehicle.
