Montauban by Segway gyropode

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Port Canal is the marina of Montauban, the Montech canal joins the 2 seas canal in 11 km and 11 locks.
We will take the cycle track that passes under the railway through a tunnel to reach the banks of the Tarn that we will ride along for a while and that will allow us to admire the old bridge and the Ingres/Bourdelle museum that we will see more closely later.
If you wish to test the performance of your gyropod, I will take you to test its behavior on a bumpy ground of grass and earth in front of a small island protected for its fauna where it is forbidden to moor.
After crossing the old bridge dating from the 12th century, you will be able to admire the Ingres/Bourdelle museum and the Saint Jacques church. We will join the pedestrian streets, pass in front of Lulu la Nantaise (reference to the "tontons flingueurs") to arrive in front of the Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption cathedral built at the request of Louis XIV to mark the power of the Catholic royalty.
You will discover the old college which now houses the tourist office before reaching the Place Nationale with its double arcades which was in its time the starting point of the construction of the city according to a checkerboard plan all around this place.
We will join the roundabout of the "tontons flingueurs" by the cycle tracks to join the banks of the Tarn and return to our starting point by borrowing the bridge of Sapiac.
