1. BUT WHAT IS THE LAKE HIDING? 🧐

Did you know that? Lake Annecy is also a WINE CELLAR 🍷

Indeed, for 3 years, the wine merchant Serge Alexandre has been immersing his bottles of wine at a depth of 20 meters in padlocked wooden boxes 🔐 For the smart guys who thought they could have access to it, it's a failure!

Apparently, this would make the wine much better than the one that waits wisely in conventional cellars. See you next spring for the auction of the immersed bottles 🤝

2. THE DESCENT OF THE MOUNTAIN PASTURES 🐄

Every 2nd Saturday of October, the herds come down from the estive where they spent the summer. This return to the valley is symbolized and celebrated by this day which is called "La descente des Alpages". And this has been going on since the Middle Ages! ☝🏼

On this day, the streets of Annecy are then invaded by colorful herds, craftsmen, old trades, folk groups with their traditional instruments and producers of local products 🪗

The locals are particularly fond of this day which allows them to celebrate autumn every year.
This year, after 2 years of COVID, the traditional festival was able to be revived, to the delight of all! 🐑

3. THE ALPINE CHRISTMAS 🎄

Every evening of December, in Annecy, it is possible to see illuminations from 5pm to 11pm 🌟 But where, would you tell us? 🤔
